Junior Board

Junior Board

Junior Board was created in October 2003 following consultation with local young people in the Speke & Garston Area of South Liverpool.

It was set up to give young people more involvement in the decision making process in South Liverpool Housing as well as taking an active roll in Speke/Garston helping to make it a better place to live and work. The members also believe that they can empower other young people to assist in the development of the area.

The Junior Board consists of 15 young people aged 10 – 24 years old and is supported and managed by SLH’s Youth Involvement Officer.

Junior Board runs on the same lines as that of SLH Board to drive forward and improve SLH’s Services and manage and deliver youth projects and initiatives, as well as have representation on both SLH Board, SLR Board and SLH Involvement Committees.

Regular Training will be given to include;-
